Dear Serrano Families,

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year!  I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal at Serrano Elementary, and honored to be a part of the Serrano Hawk family.  This is a great place to be!  Serrano Elementary is a community united around the families and students we serve.

A little about me! I have been in education for 22 years, and kids are my why-they are the reason I love my job.  My husband and I have six kids, several pets, and full lives.  I love animals, swimming, and doing anything fun with my family.

It is a privilege to work with our students every day, and to support them in achieving success. I believe all students can learn, grow, and achieve, and motivating them is what I love to do.  Here are Serrano we are a community committed to our students, and it takes all of us doing our part to ensure our students are successful.

Welcome to Serrano for the 2022-2023 school year, I am Ms. Prady and I am the Academic Administrator.

Here are some fun facts about me; I have two adult daughters, one lives in Oregon and the other lives in North Dakota. I like to camp, swim, listen to live music, and go to the beach. My favorite color is red, and I don't have a favorite food because I love all food! 

My "Why" for being and educator is to watch students grow in every area, academics, personal, physical, and social-emotional. It is so rewarding to watch a student take on a challenge, especially something they feel is difficult, and master it. This usually does not happen without some failed attempts, and that is where the growth is.

I am so lucky to be part of the Serrano family. At Serrano, we SOAR to meet the expectations of being SAFE, taking OWNERSHIP of ourselves, striving to have a positive ATTITUDE, and trying our best to be RESPONSIBLE, to ourselves and others, everyday. What I enjoy the most about being at Serrano is seeing the kind students and families each and every day. It is such a happy school, with students and community members always smiling and waving hello. I love our school and how everyone takes such great pride in being a Serrano Hawk!
