Justin Jackson was selected as the provisional appointee at a special meeting of the Moreno Valley Unified School District Board of Education on Wednesday, Feb. 25, to fill the vacant Trustee Area 3 seat. He was selected after the Board conducted public interviews with three applicants for the seat.

Her journey, beginning as a dedicated Parent Ambassador and evolving into a vital English Learner Instructional Assistant, speaks volumes about her desire to serve and uplift our school. She provides invaluable 1:1 and small group support to our newcomer students, offering not just academic assistance, but also a sense of belonging and understanding. In Moreno Valley, Calif., 34 students from the Moreno Valley Unified School District have demonstrated excellence at the RCOE National History competition, advancing with 16 projects to the state level. With 46 schools, including 13 from Moreno Valley, participating in the competition, a diverse range of institutions showcased their talent. Among 386 student entries, Moreno Valley participants secured 34 wins, highlighting their dedication to academic excellence. These winning students will progress to the California State Competition at CSU Sacramento on April 19-24, 2024.
